CQUniversity today announced a partnership with resources and infrastructure training provider MyneSight that will increase training-delivery at Rockhampton’s School of Mining (SoM).
CQUniversity Vice-President Academic Professor Michelle Bellingan said the partnership would boost opportunities for students in the region.
“CQU will work in collaboration with MyneSight to facilitate the delivery of vocational education and training (VET) qualifications and courses, increasing the mining-related training available to our SoM students,” Professor Bellingan said.
“We’re delighted to partner with MyneSight and look forward to working together into the future.”
MyneSight General Manager Larnie Mackay said she was thrilled to partner with CQUniversity.
“At MyneSight we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional training and development services to enable individuals to realise their full potential,” Ms Mackay said.
“Partnering with CQUniversity reinforces this and provides a seamless pathway for residents of Central Queensland and beyond to obtain quality surface and underground mining skills from inexperienced entrants, future graduates, those wanting to maintain skills and those wanting to advance in their chosen field all at the amazing School of Mining.”
